Free    FOOD  Distribution Sites in Orange County (over 350 sites)

Previously, the government distributed food, paying for buildings, staff, computers, insurance, etc.
Now, churches and other non-profit organizations are paid a little bit for doing the job.
Every time someone goes there for food, it benefits the church and the taxpayers.

Bags of Groceries on  WEDNESDAY  - First Lutheran Church Dining Room on Lemon and Wilshire, 215 N. Lemon  (714) 871-7820    (yes, ID is necessary for repeat customers)  ..
Before 8 AM, line up in the alley to pick a number from a bag, lottery style.
Then, before 9 AM, use that number to line up in front of the church's dining room on Wilshire. When entering, you are given another number and can sit down in the cafeteria with coffee, snacks, and oatmeal.  Then, when your new number is called, go to the back desk to exchange that number for your card, and proceed to the building behind the alley, to choose your groceries.  I bring a "little old lady's shopping cart" to hold all the groceries.

Nourishing Hot Meals on TUESDAY -- First Lutheran Church

Ask those who know.
